Injectors
An injector, ejector, steam ejector or steam injector is a pump-like device that uses the Venturi effect of a converging-diverging nozzle to convert the pressure energy of a motive fluid to velocity energy which creates a low pressure zone that draws in and entrains a suction fluid. After passing through the throat of the injector, the mixed fluid expands and the velocity is reduced which results in recompressing the mixed fluids by converting velocity energy back into pressure energy. The motive fluid may be a liquid, steam or any other gas. The entrained suction fluid may be a gas, a liquid, a slurry, or a dust-laden gas stream

Fuel Rail
A fuel rail is essentially a pipe (usually resembling a rail) used to deliver fuel to individual fuel injectors on internal combustion engines. It is designed to have a pocket or seat for each injector as well as an inlet for a fuel supply. Some fuel rails also incorporate an attached fuel pressure regulator. Fuel rails are used on engines with multi-point fuel injection systems, although some multi-point systems use a fuel distributor with individual pipes or tubes to feed each injector.

Fuel Regulator
AEM's Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator is constructed of 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and is capable of support enough fuel flow for engines in excess of 1000 horsepower. Only AEM regulators have replaceable discharge ports which allows the user to tailor the regulator to the output of ANY fuel pump, whether it be the stock unit or a high flow aftermarket pump. For the Honda/Acura AFPR's, the base of the regulator is tapped to accept the stock hose barb fitting or an AN fitting. For the Universal AFPR's, the regulator's inlet and outlet ports are tapped to accept either -6 or -8 lines.
Key features:
* Only AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulators have replacable discharge ports to match regulator and fuel pump output
* For custom fit applications, mounts directly to stock or AEM High Volume Fuel Rail
* For Universal applications, can be remotely mounted for use on all vehicles
